Meet Maren

I’m running for Cheyenne City Council because I will bring a fresh perspective and new ideas.  I proudly represent hard-working tax payers who currently have no representation within the governing body:  Creatives, service workers, and women small business owners.

My style of leadership is thoughtful and centered around listening, collaborating, and taking action to improve our lives. By leading with transparency and integrity, I want to help restore trust in local government and protect our way of life.

Small Business Owner and Artist

Small Business Owner

I work as a Wyoming landscape artist, creating and selling my art professionally since 2016.  The High Plains are a vast and beautiful ecosystem, and I love painting the colors and clouds of a prairie sky sunset.

Cheyenne Native

For nearly 80 years my family owned and operated The Albany Restaurant, Bar, and Liquormart.  As a stalwart downtown establishment, we weathered many economic downturns and recoveries.  In my youth, I worked alongside my family and eventually became General Manager.  I have a lot of experience with the downtown community, which makes me a uniquely qualified candidate to represent Ward 1 and the downtown interests.
